3½ days left!

6 06 2007

I can’t wait… but I’ll  have to. 3½ days left of school then a midnight flight back home. Well at least to my home country. lol It passes by so quickly one year, it feels like yesterday when we stood to the door step of 6.7th grade. Now 7.8th grade is just around the corner. Looking back, forward and to the side to reflect, imagine and plan. I already have my summer planned out. Second day at “home” my cousins end of academic year ceremony. Then on Sunday up to our summer house to celebrate Mid-Summer. Of curse meeting all my old buddies will take up most of the time that isn’t spend doing tax-free shopping!

KPL, Kids Programing Language

23 09 2006

Have you ever wanted to learn programming? At least I wanted. So I surfed on the web one day and found this great thing called KPL. KPL stands for Kids Programming Language. Its not really the C# stuff or Java, it’s basic but you have to start somewhere. There is a short guidebook that is also available on the site. It available in 17 languages (country languages NOT programming languages.) And the best still to come-it’s FREE!

Field Trip or Hill Trip?

9 09 2006

Hi, good morning, good night or whatever the time is I hope you are going to have or had a good day. At least I’m going to have a fantastic week. On Wednesday we’re (all 6th graders) going on a Field Trip to a Hill. So it should be called a Hill Trip. Anyway it going to be fun! The bus trip up the hill is /\/\ ~~~(up, down, right and left.) Wee. When we get up on the hill we have some appartment’s booked for us. There we are going to sleep for 2 nights. Daytime we are going to do fun activates. I thinks it’s going to be group activates, games, exploring the nature and getting to know the new people to there school. The count down has started 3 days left.
